The.
The cock crows in the day in the land of the living.
Extrapolating the mind, twixt the slumberland of the night.
Twixt dreams and reality, the ever thinking mind playing its ceaseless games of thought
Disturbing the sleep process, to awaken to a world of night blindness.
The blinding flash of the electric light burns into the eyes
The intrusion is like the flames of hell.
Twas not the cockeral, but the owl who was the devil of the peace.

For many years I have been involved in events concerning the culture of Lancashire.
Having won an international award for the performance of the Sabden Treacle Mines Raid.
The story that I wrote, won an international award at Sidmouth International Folk Festival. BBC Radio Blackburn now BBC Radio Lancashire invited me to present a programme that I entitled The Lancashire Drift.
This was about the culture and folklore of the County Palatine . Simon Johnston and I presented this for some ten years. The programme won an international award for the best outside broadcast for local radio.
Started singing originally in the folk group CLOGS
I performed with the 'Blue Water Folk ' for twenty years.
Joined the Lancashire Dialect Society and became a committee member.
Wrote a local book entitled "In Mi Gobbinland Home."
I have performed on Television, Radio, Theatre, and featured on recording LPs. and tapes. Wrote the theme music and ballad for Home Ground programme entitled Weavers Triangle. Recently I have appeared on Granada Television and BBC North West Tonight, concerning Shakespeare's links with Hoghton Tower Lancashire. Recently I appeared on BBC Channel 4 entitled Never Mind The Full Stops..
